On July 2nd–3rd, 2026, representatives from universities within the CRIACIV network gathered in Naples at the striking “Sala degli Affreschi” of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery at Università della Campania “Luigi Vanvitelli” for the third edition of the “Giornate CRIACIV.” The event brought together the Centre’s member institutions to share research perspectives in wind engineering and to report on ongoing activities across the network.

The meeting was expertly organized by Profs. Francesco Ricciardelli and Alberto Maria Avossa of the hosting institution, and proved to be a resounding success. Participants presented their latest research and key areas of interest, fostering discussions that are already pointing toward future collaborations. Over the two days, productive scientific exchanges laid a strong foundation for expanding joint activities among participants going forward.

With this third edition, the Giornate CRIACIV have rightfully established themselves as a periodic event, one that all members of the Centre now regard as highly valuable, both scientifically and as a moment of coordination among the network’s institutions. What began as an occasional gathering has grown into a fixture that strengthens the sense of community across CRIACIV and gives shared direction to its research agenda.
