Curriculum Vitae

2013: Ma.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering – (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya – BarcelonaTech).

2014: Post-Grad. Research Master in Fluid Dynamics (von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics).
2016 – 2017: PhD student in the International Doctorate in Civil and Environmental Engineering (University of Florence, double degree with Vrije Universiteit Brussel).

Fields of Interest

Wind tunnel testing of Vertical-Axis Wind Turbines. Analysis and optimization of their performance in urban environments. Reproduction of turbulent flows in the wind tunnel. Data acquisition and processing software (LabView, Matlab, Tecplot).

Experiences in Laboratories abroad

2012: 4-months Short Training Program at the von Karman Institute (Belgium), in the field of laser-based experimental techniques.

2013 – 2014: Research Master with specialization in experimental techniques in the Environmental and Applied Fluid Dynamics Department, at the von Karman Institute (Belgium).

2015: 6-months contract at IREC (Catalonia Energy Research Institute), working as a Research Engineer at the SEILAB laboratory in Tarragona (Spain), optimizing heat reuse technologies for data centres in the RenewIT European project.

2016 – 2017: Early Stage Researcher within the AEOLUS4FUTURE Innovative Training Network (ITN), with participation of 10 universities and research partners all over Europe.
