CTBUH 2017 Student Research Competition
Our brand new PhD have been recently Awarded

We are very proud that the Council of Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat (CTBUH) 2017 Student Research Competition, sponsored by Underwriters Laboratories, resulted in the winning project entitled “An Innovative Tall Building Façade to Achieve High Ventilation, Fire Safety, and Structural Performance,” submitted by Ing. Andrea Giachetti, a PhD student at Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (Università degli Studi di Firenze), working in the Wind Tunnel Laboratory since 2014 under Prof. Gianni Bartoli, Director of CRIACIV. The goal of the competition is to assist talented students, overseen by an instructor, in focusing on a relevant research question within the 2017 theme of “Tall Building Performance.”
